Individual Psychotherapy

Option 1: Guided Self-Help

Guided self-help is a brief form of psychologically-informed self-help involving, typically, 6 to 10, 30-minute, bi-weekly sessions. This way of working is good for focussing on specific difficulties and barriers being experienced in the here-and-now. Guided self-help interventions focus on working towards a specific goal that is achievable in 3-6 months. The role of past experiences are acknowledged but not explored in detail. This is a great option if you are feeling stuck in a rut or vicious cycle and think some psychological insight and a little coaching and accountability would help you to get out of it. It can also be a good place to start if you have never had therapy before, or have and are coming back for some refocusing and 'maintenance’ support. We can always talk about progressing to full psychotherapy sessions, if we think this would be helpful.

Option 2: Psychotherapy
60-minute sessions individual gut-led psychotherapy sessions.

Option 3: Introduction to mindfulness
Are you mindfulness-curious? This option focuses purely on guiding you on an individual and personalised journey to your own mindfulness practice.

Nutritional Therapy

Option 1: Routine eating review
One week before our scheduled meeting, you send me a one-week food diary and your eating habit queries. We will then meet and reflect together how your food diary is currently supporting you, areas that could be improved to align with your eating habit goals, and practical strategies to achieve these. This could be a one-off singular session or we can agree follow-up sessions to review and support you to move towards your routine eating goals. Please note that this option is not suitable for in-depth health queries more suitable for personalised nutritional therapy.

Option 2: Supplement review
Are you taking supplements or thinking about taking supplements? I can support you to review your options and help you choose what is most likely to work best for you. A 1-2 month follow-up session is strongly recommended following any changes.

Option 3: Personalised nutritional therapy
A minimum 3-session package that involves an in-depth health and lifestyle assessment. This is analysed following the first sessions and feedback is given at the second session with nutrition and lifestyle recommendations, as needed. These recommendations are reviewed at the third session and recommendations are adjusted, as needed. Further individual or batch of sessions can be agreed as best fits your needs.
