Individual Psychotherapy
-
Every intervention begins with a 1-hour assessment session.
This extended session allows us time to:
cover the formalities of working together;
start developing a shared understanding of your difficulties; and
collaboratively agree a suitable psychotherapy contract for you, whether that is guided self-help or full psychotherapy.
An assessment report is not always necessary, so is not included in the assessment price. A report can be provided on request. In some cases, sharing a report with other healthcare professionals actively involved your care may be clinically indicated for your wellbeing and best all-around care. I will tell you if I think this will be necessary at the point of contracting your assessment.
Reports are an additional £80 per report.

Guided self-help is a brief form of psychologically-informed self-help involving 6 to 10, 30-minute, bi-weekly sessions. Guided self-help interventions focus on working towards a specific goal that is achievable in 3-6 months. The role of past experiences are acknowledged but not explored in detail.
This way of working is good for focussing on specific difficulties and barriers being experienced in the here-and-now. It is a great option if you are feeling stuck in a rut or vicious cycle and think some psychological insight and a little coaching and accountability would help you to get out of it.
It can also be a good place to start if you have never had therapy before, or have and are coming back for some refocusing and 'maintenance’ support. We can always talk about progressing to full psychotherapy sessions, if we think this would be helpful.

Is chronic stress, anxiety, depression, a recent traumatic event or the echoes of trauma preventing you from living the life you want to lead and fulfilling your potential? Are you adjusting to life after a significant event? Are you adjusting to living with a chronic health diagnosis, such as Type 2 Diabetes, respiratory disorders, chronic fatigue, or long COVID?
I draw upon the family of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions, including mindfulness and compassion approaches, to help you to meet yourself with understanding of where you currently are and map a pathway towards where and how you want to be.
Sessions are typically 60-minutes. We will contract the number of sessions to best fit your needs. Many people contract about 12 - 16 sessions. Some may contract more and others less. I will always be honest with you about what we can realistically achieve in the number of sessions that we have.

Are you mindfulness-curious? This option focuses purely on guiding you on an individual and personalised journey to your own mindfulness practice.
Sessions are typically 90 minutes to allow time for both experience and reflection. We will contract the number of sessions that best fits you.
Nutritional Therapy Packages
-
Are you in a cycle of buying fresh fruit and veg with good intensions and then throwing it away when it moulds in the fridge or fruit bowl? And/or do you feel stuck in the expense of never having food when you need it and so frequently buying ready-made breakfast, lunch and/or dinner?
Invest in this package to save yourself money in the long-run by identifying a realistic strategy and routine that works for you. By having meals that you enjoy ready for when you want to eat them, reduce your uncooked food waste and reliance on pre-prepared or quick-prepared food.
One week before our scheduled meeting, you send me a one-week food diary and your eating habit queries. We will then meet and reflect together on how your food diary is currently supporting you, areas that could be improved to align with your eating habit goals, and practical strategies to achieve these.
This package is based on a one-off singular session. We can agree 30-minute follow-up sessions to review and support you to move towards your routine eating goals. Follow-up sessions will be charged at £60/session.
Please note that this option is not suitable for in-depth health queries more suitable for personalised nutritional therapy.

Are you taking or thinking about taking supplements? There can be a lot of hype around supplements and a well-targeted supplement strategy can be strikingly beneficial to our health and wellbeing. At its worst, a poor supplement approach could be risky to your health. At its best, it could simply be costing you money with none of the benefits you are intending for yourself. I can support you to review your options and help you choose a good fit for you.
One week before our meeting you will send me a completed 3-day food diary and a list of your current supplements, or the ones you are considering taking, and briefly your reasons for choosing them. These give me an idea of the nutritional make-up of your usual diet and the type and quality of supplements that you are taking/considering taking.
The best supplement approach starts with a ‘food first’ strategy. The body is best nourished through the intuitive biochemical synergy of complete meals. It is also often cheaper than supplements. We may be able to resolve your queries with diet-focused recommendations. Where supplements are indicated, suitable recommendations will be discussed. In some cases this may involve testing levels before, and potentially after, a supplement regime to ensure safety and suitability of your supplement plan. Any tests are not included in the price plan and options will be discussed.
We will meet again after 1-2 months to review the outcome of the recommendations. We may agree further follow-ups as needed. 30-minute review sessions are charged at £60/session.

A minimum 3× 1hr session package that involves an in-depth health and lifestyle assessment. This is analysed following the first session and feedback is given at the second session with nutrition and lifestyle recommendations, as needed. These recommendations are reviewed at the third session and recommendations are adjusted, as needed.
In some cases tests and supplements may be discussed to tailor an appropriate and safe personalised nutrition strategy for you. Tests and supplements are not included in the price plan and options will be discussed.
Further individual or batch of sessions can be agreed as best fits your needs.
