Service

I treat all clients on the basis of their expressed wishes, clinical need and safety. The service you receive is based on the information you provide. No responsibility can be accepted if information is withheld.

Session time, duration and location

Assessment sessions are typically 1 hour and charged at £120.

‘Option 1’: Guided-Self Help sessions are typically 30 minutes and charged at £60.

‘Option 2’: Psychotherapy sessions are typically 1 hour and charged at £100 per hour.

‘Option 3’: 1:1 Mindfulness sessions are typically 1.5 hours and charged at £140.

Each session time and duration will be agreed in advance.

Payment Policy

Agreed payments can be made by bank transfer prior to or within 24 hours of the session.

Receipts/invoices are available on request.

Missing payments will initially be followed up with an email prompt. If the payment is still not made within 24 hours of the prompt, an invoice will be sent by email. No further sessions can be agreed until outstanding sessions have been paid for.

If you have concerns about being able to pay for the treatment that you have started, please do not hesitate to discuss this with me.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be made by email on the details above or the web contact form.

Cancellations submitted with 24 or more hours’ notice will not incur a charge. If your appointment is on a Monday, please cancel on Friday.

If less than notice is provided, you will be charged half the cost of your session to cover the incurred costs.

Non-attendance Policy

If you do not attend a session without any notice, I will email you to make you aware of the missed appointment and to check that all is well with you.

If I am unable to reach you, I will email you an invoice for the missed session and your file will be placed on hold until you contact Mind Body Therapies again.  

Missed appointments without notice will be charged in full.   

Reviewing

We will review sessions regularly to ensure you feel you are getting the most out of therapy; you are not tied into any commitment; you can end sessions at any time. If I consider your requirements beyond my competence I reserve the right to terminate our contract, this will be discussed in the session and recommendations would be provided.

Dissatisfaction and complaints

My aim is to always treat you with respect and dignity and communicate with you openly, honestly and authentically. This way, I truly hope that you will never feel dissatisfied with the service you experience with me.

If an event arises where you do feel unhappy with any aspect of your service or communication with me, please do not hesitate to let me know. You can raise this with me directly in session or put it in writing in an email or using the web contact form. I will endeavour to resolve your concerns directly with you.

If, after communicating with me, you still feel dissatisfied, you can submit your concerns to the BABCP, my professional registration body.
